Breaking Bias. Building Futures. Biennal Award Night 2026

Switzerland’s Biennal Award 2026 – Where Equality Meets Innovation.

The FE+MALE Biennal Awards highlight organizations that take equality seriously—not as a slogan, but as a core part of their daily operations.

We invite institutions, organizations, SMEs, startups, NGOs, and foundations to showcase how they shape culture, decision-making, procurement, funding, and community engagement with intention and responsibility.

Our criteria focus on how an organization truly operates:

  • Modern Leadership: How leadership is lived in practice.

  • Inclusive Decision-Making: How decisions are made across the board.

  • Fair Value Chains: How transparent and equitable value chains are built.

  • Capital Allocation: How capital is directed to those shaping the future.

  • Community Engagement: How the organization shows up for its community.

If these principles are part of your daily practice—visible, measurable, and genuine—then we want to hear from you.

These awards recognize real commitment, not polished statements.

"By rethinking long-established practices and adopting research-based approaches, we can shape leadership that is more inclusive, diverse, and capable of meaningful change.

The Biennial Conference and Award advances this work, offering a model of commitment and forward-looking action. It will provide insights for Swiss business and cultural institutions, including the Locarno Film Festival, aiming to strengthen gender-equality structures.

Greater gender diversity is not only a social priority; it is a key driver of creativity, resilience, and long-term competitiveness in Switzerland and globally."

"The current geopolitical situation and technological and social change are shifting the requirements placed on all industries, including the hospitality sector.

We all need to take different perspectives into account. The question is how we can equip students with the right skills to keep pace with this change.

Diverse teams and inclusive behavior are essential for promoting different ways of thinking and finding creative solutions. "
